Goff Public, Inc., and Rural Strategies, LLC, today announced that they are forming a strategic partnership to collaborate on rural and agriculture-related public affairs and public relations projects in the Midwest .
The partnership brings together the highly experienced team at Goff Public, a long-standing Minnesota-based public relations and public affairs firm with substantial outstate media relations experience, and Rural Strategies, an agricultural and rural consulting firm recently started by former Minnesota Department of Agriculture Assistant Commissioner Joe Martin. Martin also spent more than six years with the Minnesota and American Farm Bureau federations working on a variety of state and national issues of significance to the state’s agricultural community.
“We continue to look for ways to better serve clients across the region,” said Chris Georgacas , chief executive officer of Goff Public. “Joe’s deep understanding of rural communities and the agriculture sector will add to our unparalleled client service. Joe brings a new perspective and experience to our agency, and we will be able to provide an incredibly strong team to support prospective joint clients.”
“In today’s fast-paced business world, strategic allies are crucial to successfully navigating Minnesota ’s complex public affairs world and providing clients a full menu of services,” said
Martin. “This partnership allows Rural Strategies the opportunity to benefit from Goff Public’s high quality media relations, crisis communications, and grassroots advocacy professionals. I am excited to be a part of this dynamic team at a time when our rural businesses and agriculture economy have never been more important to Minnesota ’s future.”
Rural Strategies will be located at Goff Public’s Lowertown Saint Paul offices. The two companies will remain separate entities which will work together with clients on a project basis.
