The future of media - 4K

1080P vs 4K Television
What does the future hold? No one really knows, but this time of year it is fun to think about what may be in store for us. I recently had the amazing opportunity to be exposed to what I believe could be in our future.

4K Television is the next step in HD media. 4K is four times the resolution of 1080p and is mind blowing resolution. I didn't believe it could be that much better, but when I saw it, I was amazed.

Of course, we are a ways off from seeing 4K in everyday media. For one thing, media outlets have yet to invest in 4K cameras. In order to enjoy the high resolution of a 4K images it needs to be shot with a 4K camera. Remember when local broadcasts switched to HD? Everyone was concerned that it would reveal too much of reality. How much worse will it be when everything is in 4K?

CEPro has an interesting article that states why 4K is the future of television. Personally, I look forward to 4K entering the market and seeing how once again everything changes!
