In his new role, Larson will draw on more than two decades of government, civic, and political experience to assist firm clients. Larson has been a lobbyist at LGN for nine years and has focused on tax, commerce, jobs, technology, and employee pension issues. He previously served for 10 years as a legislator representing portions of Bloomington, Richfield, and South Minneapolis in the Minnesota Senate and House of Representatives.

Rebecca K. Klett, a 14-year veteran of LGN who was recently named Partner at the expanding firm, has been elevated from her role as Director of State Government Relations, to the Partner in Charge of State Government Relations including the firm’s communications and grassroots advocacy team, with a focus on business development.

“As the world of government relations, public relations, and grassroots advocacy continue to evolve and intertwine, it is critical to have seasoned leadership that is battletested in this all-inclusive approach,” said Ted Grindal, the named partner at LGN who has overseen the growth of this practice area for the last three decades.  “Grooming leadership to better serve our expanding client base has been a top priority at our firm. Dan and Rebecca’s new positions are a reflection of that commitment and will continue to be a distinguishing factor for our clients in this marketplace.”
