United Noodles, the largest Pan-Asian grocer in the Midwest, has selected Harvest PR & Marketing, Inc., to manage its public relations outreach.
Nestled in the Seward neighborhood in South Minneapolis, United Noodles is a 15,000-square-foot grocer offering more than 8,000 products from 15 countries. Its UniDeli café features a variety of freshly prepared delicious, authentic Chinese and Japanese cuisine.
Harvest PR will work to strengthen awareness for United Noodles among the local food community, as well as introduce the grocer to regional and national audiences as United Noodles readies for a national e-commerce strategy in 2014.
“United Noodles is that special kind of brand that once you experience it, you’re a fan for life,” said Heidi Nelson, Harvest PR principal and founder. “For more than 40 years, United Noodles has been among the city’s best kept secrets. We look forward to helping more home cooks discover this local treasure and bring the flavors of the world to their table.”
United Noodles Co-Owner Eric Fung says the grocer has been serving the community since 1972, but a growing appetite for Asian cuisine is changing the way it does business. “We’ve seen an explosion of interest in the local food community for preparing and enjoying Asian meals at home, so in many ways we feel like we’re just getting started. We’re excited to have Harvest on board to help tell our story here in the Twin Cities today and nationally as we prepare to serve a broader audience in the months ahead.”
