As part of the agency’s continuing growth in its social engagement division, Carmichael Lynch Spong recently added Tara Olson to its Minneapolis office as a social engagement specialist. Olson joins an agency team that provides clients full-service social and digital offerings, including research and insights, influencer marketing, community management, content creation,interactive production, paid social media planning and buying, social crisis and issues management and analytics.
Prior to joining the team at Carmichael Lynch Spong, Olson served as a community engagement advocate at Periscope. While there, she helped shape strategy and execution for social media and digital PR efforts for a variety of clients, including Target College Events, Red Robin®, Papa Murphy's® Take 'N' Bake Pizza, Great Clips® and Gold'n Plump®. Before her stint at Periscope, Olson was a project coordinator at Magnet 360 in Minneapolis. Olson graduated magna cum laude from the University of St. Thomas. During her college career she served as the president of the university's Student Advertising Federation and participated in the National Student Advertising Competition.
