Shandwick announced three new hires

The Minneapolis office of Weber Shandwick announced three new hires in its Digital Communications, Financial Services and Video Production practices.

Corinne Long has been hired as an assistant account executive in the Financial Services practice upon the completion of her internship. Since joining Weber Shandwick, she has worked with the Go Direct® team and demonstrated her skills for media pitching, writing, partner outreach and website management. Previously, Long interned at the Greater Twin Cities United Way and Adsoka Inc. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and Spanish from the University of Minnesota.

Ben Lurie has been hired as an assistant account executive in the Digital Communications practice after completing his internship. He has worked on research projects, media monitoring and media relations for several consumer marketing and healthcare clients, as well as supporting the office’s business development team. Prior to Weber Shandwick, he completed internships with the Angel Foundation, The Whole Learning School and the Utne Reader. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Carleton College.

Kari Nolan has joined the Video Production practice as a production coordinator. Nolan will work as project and logistics coordinator, assistant producer, writer and scheduler for Weber Shandwick’s award-winning video production team. Previously, Nolan worked as communications and content coordinator at WCCO-TV. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
