OLSON PRESIDENT KEVIN DILORENZO ADDS CEO TO TITLE

To mark the beginning of the next chapter in its history, OLSON announces today that president Kevin DiLorenzo will add CEO to his title. During his nearly seven-year tenure at OLSON, the agency has grown by 600 percent and has been honored with numerous awards, including 18 Effie Awards, a Jay Chiat Award for Strategic Excellence, multiple Silver Anvil Awards, RAC Awards, and numerous industry recognitions for innovative creative campaigns.

The Minneapolis brand connection agency has just announced that it has joined forces with Denali Marketing, Minneapolis, to form a new discipline of the agency called OLSONdenali, making it one of the top 10 independent agencies in the country and the largest in the Twin Cities.

John Olson, founder and chairman, will continue as OLSON’s chairman and focus on agency architecture, vision, and acquisitions. “OLSON is growing exponentially, and needs a next generation of leadership to map our route,” says John Olson. “When I hired Kevin, my hope was he would be the guy to whom I could hand over the reins. Kevin is that person, many times over. Since his arrival, OLSON has experienced unprecedented growth fueled by spectacular client wins, hard work and incredible creativity. And it’s time for me to pursue what’s next for OLSON—growing the agency in new ways, by collecting new capabilities for our agency of the future.”

Before joining OLSON, Kevin was a senior partner at Carmichael Lynch Spong and a management supervisor at Fallon Worldwide.
