LaBreche Murray Public Relations Hires Boyd

Minneapolis-based public relations firm LaBreche Murray announces the addition of Laura Boyd as principal.

Boyd will head up LaBreche Murray’s aggressive new business initiative and provide customer service and counsel to existing and future clients. She will also offer strategic direction and leadership, serving on the agency’s management committee.

Boyd comes to LaBreche Murray from Froehling Anderson CPA firm where she served as director of marketing and business development and implemented strategic marketing tactics as well as targeted business development plans. Boyd previously served as the chief marketing officer at LarsonAllen accounting firm, and project manager for Lutheran Brotherhood (now Thrivent) and Custom Research Inc.

“Laura is a savvy business woman who is connected to, and cares about, the Twin Cities community,” said Beth LaBreche, president of LaBreche Murray Public Relations. “These qualities will help her drive LaBreche Murray to stronger and more productive client relationships.”

Boyd received her master’s degree in organizational leadership from the College of St. Catherine, a mini-master’s degree in financial management from the University of St. Thomas, and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Cornell College.

For Laura Boyd, community involvement is a part of her daily life. She serves on the advisory board for Klein Bank in Chanhassen, is a member of the board of directors for Minnesota Viking Matt Birk’s HIKE Foundation, and serves as the treasurer on the St. Michael’s Lutheran Church Parish council.
