Weber Shandwick Wins Corporate Social Responsibility Award

The Twin Cities office of Weber Shandwick has received a Corporate Social Responsibility award from PR News in the Employee Relations category. This category recognizes internal communications efforts and honors organizations that build social responsibility into their cultures, support volunteerism, and have a connection to their communities.

According to their news release issued today, Weber Shandwick has a long history of supporting local non-profits through pro-bono client relationships, daylong work projects, as well as an annual workshop designed to help non-profits effectively tell their story. All of Weber Shandwick’s pro-bono work supports its mission of supporting youth and families.

“I am proud of our history of supporting the Twin Cities community,” said Sara Gavin, president of Weber Shandwick’s Twin Cities office. “This is not an initiative for our office. It’s a responsibility that we take seriously and are committed to fulfilling, not only in Minnesota, but in Weber Shandwick offices around the globe.”
